Sri Lanka is surrounded by beautiful beaches. Due is this geographical feature Sri Lanka has become a country that has won tourist attraction. We as Sri Lankan got a big half of that. Because our country's bomestic and foreign tourism industry is developing,so we can get foreign exchange. There are several major beaches in Sri Lanka that have attracted attention. If they are 

• Nilaweli beach  
• Weligama beach           
• Negambo beach        
• Hikkaduwa beach          
• Mirissa beach

Nilaweli beach

 

    This beach is a curtain of white sandy beaches. Most famous for surfing and diving. This beach is located in Trincomalee district. Nilaweli beach is one of the best and most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka.

Hikkaduwa beach

This beach is famous for its many coral reefs Can be seen very beautifully by diving at Hikkaduwa beach. Hikkaduwa beach is also know as a coral sanctuary. This beach located about 100 kilometers south of Colombo.

Mirissa beach

This beach is a long Sandy beach screen. This beach also know as a centuries -ols fishing industry. There are many turtles and blue whales in this sea region. Negambo's coastline is much shorter than other coastlines

Our country, which has many beautiful beaches is completely surrounded by Sea. From the province of our country, central province, North province, Sabaragamu province and Uva province do not have beach screen.

       We need to work to protect the beauty of such attractive beaches around Sri Lanka.
